about David Fullarton

David Fullarton is a Scottish born, San Francisco based artist and illustrator. He keeps notebooks and drawers filled with scraps of paper, scribbled phrases, and other ephemera that he incorporates into his artwork. The result is a unique style of collaged illustration featuring hand-lettered text and a quirky, offbeat sense of humor. Having been an advertising copywriter for many years, David is always happy to write and come up with the concepts that he illustrates. Although he's equally happy just to draw whatever anyone tells him. All those years in advertising have made him surprisingly professional, so while he admits to being a bit scared of monkeys, He's not the least bit scared of deadlines.
